Epsxe game too slow

I know it can't be my PC requirements even though I have a slow laptop , because I've been able to run it when it was still Windows7. But being the idiot that I am, I upgraded to Windows10 without doing much research, and now every game is unplayable.

I'm using ePSXe 1. I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong. I was wondering if anyone can help me out, I'd appreciae any help! This is so frustrating that I'm even willing to revert back to Windows7 just to be able to play these games properly again.

I'm very willing to do this, but I need to know: Do I lose any of my files when I revert back to Windows7 from Windows10? I have a bunch of family videos, photos, and a lot of them are quite long. If I revert back to Windows7, will I lose these files during the process? Please let me know, thanks! Mupen64 Man Big fan of Mupen64 Staff member. What plugins are you using?

We have already spoken of the best emulators that work even without the bios for the legendary first Playstation , among these one of the best is without a doubt the excellent ePSXe that has made the happiness of many players that have been able on your PC enjoy the many glories of the era PSX as Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, 3, Team Racing, Bash , Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9 , Chrono Trigger, Castlevania, Medievil, Metal Gear Solid, Tekken 3. In short, it was a console which saw the publication of a large number of masterpieces, and then it's not surprising that someone today can take pleasure in rigiocarli.

Unfortunately not everything is pink and flowers: with ePSXe and Windows 10, we find the emulator and start a rom image in the formats: bin, iso, img, cue, ccd, mds, pbp, ecm , or from a CD, it will crash, presenting the sad message, ePSXe is not responding.

To solve this problem is simpler than you would have imagined, just go to Options — CPU overclocking and select 1x. This should solve the crash of ePSXe on Windows 10 definitely, if you have a video card that is vaguely decent one that's built recently, or even a dedicated card with a few years on the shoulders you can try the parameters that I've set the video plugin to get the optimum performance and an improvement in the graphics. Another thing to try would be to clean up your temporary files.

Click on your Start button. Disk Clean-up 6. It will take a few minutes to analyze your files, but eventually a list of things to delete will appear with little check boxes next to item. Go ahead and check every thing except for the last one that asks if you want to compress the files on your hard drive. If you're running XP, then you could also defragment your hard drive before you sleep. Start 2. Programs 3. Accessories 4. System Tools 5. Disk Defragmenter 6.

Let your computer do its thing for a few hours or until it is done defragmenting. A few things to try. Disable all other programs, including antivirus. This also means to limit the amount of processes on startup to the bare minimum. Try playing in bit color If you are playing full screen, reduce your resolution.

Try playing without sound. The idea is to lighten the load on the CPU. If none of the above work you can pretty much assume its your pc holding you back.
